Radiation-free treatment for early-stage classic Hodgkin lymphoma (eHL) has been shown to be less effective than standard combined-modality treatment (CMT; chemotherapy plus involved-node radiotherapy (INRT)), which achieves long-term disease control of 94–95%. Approximately 70% of patients can be cured with chemotherapy alone, whereas about 5% fail CMT.
