Integrating Narrative Approaches into Adventure Therapy for Self-Identity Construction
This study describes the implementation process of an Narrative Approach to Adventure Therapy (NAT) group within a therapeutic community (TC) for individuals recovering from substance use. The purpose of the study was to provide a practice-based description of how NAT was implemented and how participants experienced self-identity reconstruction through the integration of adventure-based activities and narrative therapy conversations.
