The Impact of Carbon Emission on Food Insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa
The study examines the impact of carbon emissions on food insecurity in sub-Saharan Africa. A panel data of selected sub-Saharan countries was used. The span is from 2000-2021. To achieve the objective of the study, carbon emissions index was created and PARDL model was employed. The results show that an increase carbon emission index has a positive impact of food insecurity.
