Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

The increasing integration of digital technologies into financial systems has significantly transformed the entrepreneurial ecosystem in emerging economies. In India, digital financial inclusion has emerged as a powerful instrument for improving access to formal financial services among women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study examines the relationship between digital financial inclusion and the sustainable growth of women entrepreneurs in India. The paper explores the role of digital banking, mobile payments, financial technology platforms, and government-led digital initiatives in strengthening entrepreneurial development. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach based on secondary data collected from government reports, World Bank databases, Reserve Bank of India publications, and scholarly literature. The findings reveal that digital financial inclusion contributes to improved financial accessibility, business efficiency, market expansion, and entrepreneurial empowerment among women-owned enterprises. However, barriers such as digital illiteracy, cybersecurity concerns, inadequate infrastructure, and socio-cultural constraints continue to affect adoption levels, especially in rural regions. The study concludes that targeted policy interventions, digital literacy programs, and inclusive financial technologies are essential for strengthening women entrepreneurship and promoting sustainable economic development.
