In this installment of the President’s Message, NEHA President Scott Holmes reflects on the importance of collaboration in environmental public health practice. Through the story of an ethylene glycol poisoning investigation at a community picnic, he illustrates how environmental health professionals work with epidemiologists, laboratory staff, healthcare providers, toxicologists, and community members to identify and address complex environmental exposures.
