Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

This article is the result of an exploratory study grounded in a theoretical literature review, aiming to conduct research on performance management. In addition to presenting the main factors conditioning worker performance and understanding the causes and effects of employee behavior along with its influence on company performance, this project also aimed to provide an overview of the addressed topics and, fundamentally, present the state of the art of performance management in organizations in order to suggest improvements to the performance management process in these companies and beyond. Thus, a contextualization of the main theoretical concepts was carried out, followed by the methodology that guided the work, and finally, considerations regarding the topic were presented to offer valid contributions that would truly lead to improvements in the performance management process of companies.
