Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

Digital workplace technologies have become a fundamental driver of organizational transformation, enabling businesses to improve operational efficiency, communication, collaboration, and decisionmaking in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven environment. Organizations are adopting advanced digital tools such as cloud computing, enterprise collaboration platforms, artificial intelligence, virtual meeting applications, data analytics, and workflow automation to create flexible and connected workplaces. This study examines the impact of digital workplace technologies on the organizational structure of HCL Company by analyzing how these technologies influence communication, coordination, employee collaboration, decision-making, and overall organizational effectiveness. A quantitative research approach was adopted using a structured questionnaire to collect primary data from employees, while secondary data were obtained from journals, books, company reports, and credible online sources. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to evaluate the relationship between digital workplace technologies and organizational structure. The findings reveal that the adoption of digital technologies enhances operational efficiency, accelerates information sharing, supports remote and hybrid work models, improves employee productivity, and enables faster decisionmaking across departments. The study also indicates that digital transformation encourages a more flexible, collaborative, and decentralized organizational structure, allowing employees to respond more effectively to changing business requirements. However, challenges such as cybersecurity risks, employee resistance to technological change, digital skill gaps, and data privacy concerns require continuous organizational support and effective change management strategies. The study concludes that successful implementation of digital workplace technologies strengthens organizational agility, improves employee performance, and enhances the overall effectiveness and competitiveness of HCL Company in the evolving digital business landscape.
