Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

This research investigates the factors affecting QRIS adoption among traders at Pasar Tradisional Johar Karawang, Indonesia, using an extended version of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study examines the influence of perceived usefulness, ease of use, electronic word of mouth (eWOM), and trust on traders' intentions to adopt QRIS. Data collected from 237 traders were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that both perceived usefulness and eWOM significantly affect trust and adoption intentions, while perceived ease of use primarily influences intention. Trust serves as a mediator between technological and social factors and adoption intention. This research highlights the critical role of trust-building and peer influence in fostering QRIS adoption in traditional market environments, while also addressing barriers, including infrastructure limitations.
