Factors affecting fertility in Lalitpur Metropolitan city ward no 10 Lalitpur district is analyzed. The study used the primary data collected census method. One hundred and sixty-one ever married women of reproductive age are interviewed. Additionally, fertility is impacted by economic variables. Fertility is found to be positively associated with women's age and duration of marriage but negatively correlated with age at marriage. Fertility has negative correlation with wealth and educational attainment but a positive co relation with the number of children and the experience of losing a child. People's occupational status plays a huge role in reducing fertility. Fertility is negatively correlated with the usage of contraception.
