Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

Structural health monitoring (SHM) is an essential part of disaster prevention and can reduce human deaths and material losses. On the other hand, common SHM systems tend to be limited because of their high cost and difficult installation. In this research, the SHM device is used to measure deflections and bending of the composite steel-concrete beam, and the stress sensors are used to collect data from the device. The device described in this research is low-cost. Researchers wanted to investigate the behavior of a composite steel-concrete beam under various loading scenarios using a testing machine that measured the concrete's strength and stress. The results of experimental dynamic characterization have been used to verify the reliability and good response of the proposed low-cost system. The Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE), normalized root mean square error (NRMSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) were used. Each proposed model exhibits very high predictive power, with NSE=99.1%, NRMSE=2.66%, and MAE=496.05με, indicating excellent alignment between observed and simulated values within the range of experimental measurements at higher resolution. The proposed system is cost-effective, efficient, and innovative, while leveraging existing monitoring systems without compromising the quality or specificity of the output.
