Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the impact of various spouse-related factors on depressive symptoms among middle-aged women undergoing the transition to the empty nest period.Methods: Data were drawn from 1,218 participants included in the 9th wave of the Korea Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families (KLoWF). Variables related to spousal relationships, household roles, and socio-economic conditions were analyzed.
