The stage in arts is a subject of the degree in physical education, recreation and sports at the University of Cauca, which carries out educational practices from different artistic languages in groups of senior citizens in the city of Popayan. This academic process, some experiences of sensitive experiences were generated from varieties artistic expressions, from the language of plastic arts, dance and recreational dramatic games, stimulating creativity, imagination, camaraderie emotions of this population, this article is aimed at revealing the meanings of art in four groups of senior citizens. The methodology used was comprehensive hermeneutics, the findings of this research are framed in categories in how art stimulates the bonds of camaraderie the communicative sense of the elderly, artistic spaces allow you to forget about problems for a moment and stimulate attention.
