In recent decades, the use of polymer membranes has attracted considerable interest due to their high performance and energy efficiency. However, the main limitation to the widespread adoption of such membranes is their susceptibility to oiling and subsequent contamination by petroleum components. To address this issue, surface modification methods are being actively developed, and one of the most promising approaches is environmentally friendly treatment with low-pressure high-frequency plasma. This treatment allows for selective modification of the polymer's surface properties (wettability, roughness).The paper presents the results of a study of the separation of a water-oil emulsion by polymer membranes treated with low-pressure high-frequency discharge plasma. An increase in efficiency was found as a result of plasma modification, in particular, in the case of polysulfonamide filters due to an increase in hydrophilicity - an increase in the contact angle of distilled water from 59.6° to 43.5°. A change in productivity is also shown, with this pore size increasing 1.5 times.
