European Health Evidence

The European alternative to PubMed

EUVIMED is the European alternative to PubMed: a central, multilingual research platform for medicine, nursing, life sciences and healthcare. It brings together international and European literature sources, study registries, open-access full texts, citations and retraction notices in one search. Unlike pure bibliographic databases, EUVIMED supports the entire research process – from discovery and appraisal with LIVIA and CLARA to traceable evidence synthesis. European in focus, transparent, interoperable and designed for science and healthcare.

Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

This article aims to analyze the perceptions of two mathematics teachers regarding the potential contributions and challenges associated with using Generative Artificial Intelligence in their teaching practice. This qualitative study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with two mathematics teachers who use Generative Artificial Intelligence tools. The interviews were transcribed in full, and the data were subsequently analyzed based on a theoretical framework addressing Generative Artificial Intelligence in the educational context and its integration into teaching work. The research findings reveal certain potentials in using the tool, such as enhanced creativity, a wider variety of activities, and assistance in developing lesson plans. The teachers' accounts also highlighted challenges and limitations associated with Generative Artificial Intelligence, such as the generation of inaccurate or erroneous responses, as well as ethical concerns regarding its use without due care.
