The Theory of Ambithliptic Harm and Healing is a middle-range nursing theory that conceptualizes the internalization of racially mediated harm and the pathways toward healing within kinship systems. Harm and healing are presented as interdependent theoretical components, each inseparable from the conditions that produce and sustain the other. Centered on the original construct of Ambithlipsis, the theory describes a dual-pressure phenomenon arising from systemic racial hierarchies and intrafamiliar conditioning. Original constructs, including environmental hegemony, intrafamiliar racism, and mirothesis, delineate mechanisms through which psychological distress and behavioral adaptation are transmitted and internalized across generations. The theory provides a structured framework for culturally responsive assessment, intervention, and healing within nursing practice. Implications include advancing health equity, strengthening resilience, and addressing persistent disparities among populations exposed to chronic psychosocial stressors. A glossary of original theoretical constructs is provided.
