Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?
Lay Summary Although the development of advanced treatment including immunotherapy has dramatically increased Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients’ survival, the treatment efficacy on patients who developed brain metastasis is still poor. 35% of TNBC patients will develop brain metastasis and therapeutic options are limited. Herein, we showed that targeting SIRPα on TNBC cancer cells has the potential to increases the brain metastasis free survival by reducing cancer metastasis potential and reversing the immunosuppressive brain tumor environment. Therefore, we proposed a novel therapeutic opportunity for TNBC brain metastasis patients through targeting cancer SIRPα signaling.
