Vollständiger Abstract

Worum geht es in dieser Arbeit?

This study, titled "Impact of Artificial Intelligence Adoption on Financial Efficiency in Electronic Industries at Sony India Pvt Ltd," evaluates application area allocations, manufacturing defect per million (DPMO) reductions, operating profit margin expansion, working capital cycle optimization, and financial feasibility of enterprise AI platforms in consumer electronics manufacturing. Electronics manufacturers face intense price competition, where automated quality inspection represents 40% and supply chain demand sensing accounts for 28% of AI deployments. A five-year project lifecycle (2021-2025) of an AI-driven smart manufacturing and financial efficiency platform at Sony India Pvt Ltd is evaluated using capital budgeting parameters: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP), and Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR). Quantitative analysis indicates that deploying autonomous computer vision quality control compresses assembly defects to 15 DPMO compared to 4,500 DPMO under manual inspection. High operational efficiency drives Sony India revenue to 28,500 Crores while raising operating profit margins to 24.5%, expanding AI adoption to 92.5%, shortening the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) to 12 days, and compressing warranty claim costs to 0.3% of revenue by 2025. The financial model yields a positive NPV of 284.5 Crores and an IRR of 38.6%, far exceeding the 10% discount hurdle rate. The study concludes that investing in AI smart manufacturing platforms is highly viable, boosting financial efficiency and market leadership. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Financial Efficiency, Electronic Industries, Sony India Pvt Ltd, Defect DPMO, Operating Margins, Capital Budgeting, Financial Feasibility.
